One library, on your computer

Keeps your evidence

Bring in decks, PDFs, Word files and workbooks. Margin holds their text, tables and details in one searchable library.

Connects to Claude

The app carries its own Claude Desktop extension. One click in Setup hands it to Claude; no separate file to find.

Stays local

The library lives in a folder on this computer. Claude reads or writes it only when you ask it to in a chat.

Get started

Up and running in three steps

Install Margin

Download the app for your computer and install it like any other.

Connect to Claude

Open Setup and choose Connect to Claude. Margin hands its extension to Claude Desktop for you.

Add your documents

Bring in your material, then ask Claude about it in a chat. Answers cite the source.

Installing on Windows

Run Bloomteq Margin_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe.
If SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Follow the installer, then start Bloomteq Margin from the Start menu.
In the app, open Setup and choose Connect to Claude.

Before you connect

Margin works through Claude Desktop. Install it and sign in first.

On a Mac, open the disk image and drag Bloomteq Margin into Applications.
